One of our favourite child friendly activities is the Pedal Kart Grand Prix! This is your chance to experience the thrill of pedal go karting in an event that promises fun for all ages. Whether you have toddlers or teens, our pedal kart race is designed to bring out the competitive spirit in everyone.

Each session lasts for about 30 minutes. Our instructors will start the activity by providing you with important safety advice and get you set up in helmets and of course, your pedal kart. The session begins with a five-minute practice, allowing you time to become accustomed to the equipment. Our instructors will be able to offer advice and guidance, should you need it. Then it’s time to race!

Everyone will take part in 4 races, each consisting of 5 laps around the track. Points will be scored after each race depending on your finishing position. After the last race has finished the rider with the most points overall wins.

Racers are split into different groups: 5-8yrs, 9-11yrs and 12-15yrs. This ensures that races are kept fair, particularly for our youngest guests. We have a variety of pedal karts to suit all ages, so everyone has the chance to compete and have a blast.

Our children’s go kart pedal races are tailored for young drivers, giving them a taste of the racing world in a safe and controlled setting. Kids will have the opportunity to navigate through twists and turns, building their confidence and coordination. It’s a fantastic way for children to engage in healthy competition while having loads of fun.

Participating in our Pedal Kart Grand Prix is easy. We have a pedal kart track at both the Manor and Ashbury Resorts. Simply sign-up for a session once you arrive and get ready to race. Please note our pedal kart sessions are only available during school holidays and peak time breaks.
