The Kigbeare Course is the jewel in the crown at Manor & Ashbury Resort—a championship layout that blends challenge with truly stunning scenery. Set across rolling Devon countryside, the par-72 course winds through natural valleys, elevated ridgelines, and tree-lined fairways, offering sweeping views and a peaceful, immersive setting throughout the round.

Generous fairways and large, undulating greens are framed by cleverly placed bunkers and water features, introducing a strong element of risk-and-reward golf that encourages bold decision-making. Standout holes—like the dramatic par-3 3rd over water and the breathtaking 16th with its bold carry and elevated green—add memorable moments to an already exceptional layout.

The front nine, with its wide fairways and gentle slopes, offers an inviting start and plenty of scoring opportunities. In contrast, the back nine weaves through tighter, tree-lined fairways where accuracy and course management become essential. Strategic bunkering, water hazards, and subtle elevation changes add variety throughout, while standout holes—such as the risk-and-reward par-4 4th—encourage bold decision-making. Truly an idyllic course meandering through mature woodland, Beeches is widely regarded as the most picturesque layout at the resort. Set among rolling countryside, it offers a peaceful yet engaging round, with tree-lined fairways and natural undulations requiring thoughtful, well-placed shots throughout.

The standout 3rd hole provides a real golfing spectacle, featuring a dramatic triple-tier fairway dropping 180 feet from tee to green, while other holes—such as the stunning par-3 12th—frame breathtaking views across Dartmoor.

Boasting incredible views across Dartmoor, Oakwood is a course that should never be underestimated. Set across gently undulating terrain, it combines open vistas with cleverly shaped holes that demand careful planning from the tee to the green.

Well-positioned ponds and bunkers come into play throughout, creating genuine risk-and-reward opportunities that tempt aggressive play while punishing mistakes. With its emphasis on accuracy, positioning, and smart decision-making, Oakwood is a true thinking golfer’s course that rewards strategy as much as execution.

This course is more than a pitch and putt course and offers a challenge to both beginners and experienced golfers alike. With holes ranging from 67 to 147 yards this course is hailed as one of the finest courses of its kind in the South West. With a scattering of ponds and bunkers complemented by the natural hazards of mounds, banks and trees, there is plenty to think about. The greens are smaller than those on the long courses and demand a great test of accuracy.

Golfers with lower handicaps also enjoy this course as it is ideal for sharpening up the short game.
