If you are looking to try something new during your break our popular hotel range classes are a must. We start each session with a brief safety talk and tuition, before a friendly competition. Instructors are on hand throughout to offer one-to-one advice to improve your technique if needed.
Archery
Whether you’re a first timer, or a bow-and-arrow pro, our hotel Archery sessions are guaranteed to bring out your competitive streak. Aim for the bullseye and try your best to hit the target. Keeping a steady hand is the key to success, as you try to score as many points as possible.
Our friendly archery competitions are incredibly popular, and generally run every day. Each session lasts for approximately 30 minutes and has space for up to 10 participants, so you can take part with family and friends. The overall winner(s) from the entire day of competitions will receive a certificate and a choice of prizes.
- Children aged 0-7 years are not permitted to take part in these sessions.
- Children aged 8-11 years must be accompanied by a NON-SHOOTING adult.
Air Pistols & Air Rifles
Try your hand at air pistols and rifles, in the safety of our hotel firing ranges. Each session begins with full instructions on how to operate the equipment and, above all, use it safely. Participants are separated into individual bays by a Perspex screen and are given protective eyewear. Enjoy a practice round to help you get used to using the sight to aim at the target. Our instructors will be on hand to offer guidance and suggestions to improve your shot.
Then take part in a friendly competition with the chance to win a certificate and prize if you are the highest scorer of the day.

Junior Archery
The perfect way to enjoy archery for kids. These classes offer a fun introduction to the sport using ‘safe arrows’ and a friendly competition. Ideal for budding Robin Hoods, who aren’t old enough to enjoy our main archery sessions.
